SLOVENIA so far has been wonderful.  Again, another great day.  We hiked around Lake Bled and to Vitgar gorge.  Here are some pics. Enjoy!

A Visit to the Mother Land

We arrived in Munich to sunshine and beautiful weather.  We have been experiencing great weather everyday since we got here.  It has been wonderful.  Our first day in Munich was getting some sleep and then going out for some pints and German dinner.  The next day we visited Dachau concentration camp and then visited the Residenz Palace.  The concentration camp was pretty intense, but a great reminder of what a good relationship with Jehovah can help you through.  There were several exhibits dedicated to Jehovah's Witnesses.  The Palace was someting else.  I just kept looking around thinking ,'People really lived here?'

This paper mache sculpture was so beautiful.  Here it is before.

Here it is after.  Still hard to believe they have hundreds of these sculptures all over the city that get burned down on the last day of the Fallas.  Not all are this big, but there were quite a few.  They are supposed to all be set on fire at the same time, 12:30 am, but there were some technical difficulties here and it didn't get set on fire until 2:30am. There was wet ash all over us when it was over.  

Here we are in Alicante.  The weather was great.  Did some touring of the city.  So Beautiful.  

Last Day in Valencia

We were not able to make the 7:15 bus from Valencia to Alicante because it was full, so now we are waiting.  I will take this oppertunity and strong internet connection to show some photos.  It has been amazing here.  The weather has been sunny and beautiful everyday.  Mike's family has been so hospitable.  We have walked half the city and saw a lot.  Next stop Alicante.
