Pics of last Days in Spain

James, Jason, Julia, Mike

This paper mache sculpture was so beautiful.  Here it is before.
Here it is after.  Still hard to believe they have hundreds of these sculptures all over the city that get burned down on the last day of the Fallas.  Not all are this big, but there were quite a few.  They are supposed to all be set on fire at the same time, 12:30 am, but there were some technical difficulties here and it didn't get set on fire until 2:30am. There was wet ash all over us when it was over.

Here we are in Alicante.  The weather was great.  Did some touring of the city.  So Beautiful.

  1. Looks awesome. Glad you're having fun. The pics make me wanna burn down a house, or village. A campfire just doesn't seem to do it after looking at the pics. You are missing out on lot's of 34 degree rain.
